Head of Digital and Product Marketing

ROLE OVERVIEW

Responsible for inspiring, leading and developing the Digital & Product Marketing team in the design and execution of creative marketing activity which drives performance capability across our product portfolio.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop and execute the overall product and digital marketing strategy, in line with the business plan and commercial objectives
  • Leadership and development of the marketing team to consistently deliver creative, innovative and effective marketing activity
  • Development of the skill set and capability of the marketing team
  • Develop the online presence of the product portfolio with the objective of driving lead generation, conversion and ultimately, revenue performance – across both acquisition and retention
  • Identify and propose new approaches, technologies and digital marketing techniques to improve marketing performance
  • Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships across Sales, Content, IT and Finance
  • Overall ownership of the marketing budget, demonstrating an ROI on all activity
  • Operate and part of the senior management team and where appropriate, regularly presenting at Board level

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience of working in a highly commercial B2B sales and marketing environment
  • Experience of working at both a strategic and tactical level
  • Strong background in digital marketing and a thorough understanding of associated technologies and approaches
  • Understanding and appreciation of content marketing
  • Involvement in product development
  • Strong background in customer acquisition and retention strategies
  • Leadership and development a marketing team with tangible commercial success
  • Operating and liaising at senior management / board level
  • Ideally experienced within a software / technology environment
